ABOUT ROLE:

The Sr. Manager, Billing & Credit Management provides strategic leadership and governance over billing, credit, and collections teams to secure revenue streams and optimize cash flows for the BTL Group. This critical role oversees comprehensive billing reviews, credit risk management, and systems reconciliations while driving process automation, operational efficiencies, and fraud investigations. By establishing robust KPIs and delivering insightful business analytics, the Sr. Manager ensures strict compliance, champions customer experience, and leads high-profile initiatives—such as the implementation of the Belize Credit Bureau and new billing systems—to foster team development and sustainable business growth.

 

STANDARD JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in related Billing, Credit, Customer Operations functions, Telecoms or similar industries with a minimum of 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Deep understanding of credit risk, telecom financial processes with strong analytical and reporting writing tools.
  • Proven experience with telecom BSS/OSS platforms and billing systems, Strong command of Revenue Assurance Tools and BI Platforms (Power BI, Tableau.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Credit Management – Supervise customer credit assessments, scoring and limit setting procedures and support the implementation of the CRIF Credit Bureau in Belize

 

  • Billing – Oversee end to end billing lifecycle for all product and services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of billing processes across all customer segments.

 

  • Reporting – Develops, implements, and manages Revenue Operations’ suite of reporting (including compliance, management reporting, exceptions reporting, and ad-hoc “business intelligence” self-service reporting environments).

 

  • Data Management – Defines data and tools standards, including tools for use in data acquisition and preparation, data modeling, financial analysis and planning, Cash Forecasting, Bad Debt analytical reviews, collection strategies, overall financial performance related to credit risk and cash performance.

 

  • Project Management – Coordinates multiple projects and supports the CFO on key initiatives relating to revenue and billing activities as well as fraud management activities.
