ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Senior Manager – Application Development to lead the full application development lifecycle from solution design and development to rigorous testing and production deployment. This role is at the heart of innovation, ensuring that new products, services, and incremental improvements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will oversee product owners, developers, and quality assurance teams, applying Agile frameworks to shorten time to-market, enhance customer experience, and support revenue growth. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a
high emotional quotient, capable of inspiring teams, driving innovation, and delivering impactful solutions for our customers.
STANDARD JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related technical field.
• 5 years’ relevant experience in or related field and 3 years’ managerial experience
• Proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions from concept to deployment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology initiatives to strategic goals.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the Application Development Lifecycle – Plan, manage, and oversee all stages from solution design to production
deployment, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
2. Define and Improve Development & Testing Processes – Establish Agile-based frameworks, testing methodologies, metrics,
and quality control standards, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
3. Drive Innovation & Product Delivery – Partner with product design and development teams to transform ideas into minimum
viable products and enhance time-to-market.
4. Support Cross-Functional Teams – Act as a methodology expert, coach, and facilitator to business units developing and
testing new products, services, and innovations.
5. Build and Lead High-Performing Teams – Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning while
training and mentoring team members in best practices and Agile methods.
