ABOUT THE ROLE

Digi is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Representative to support the day-to-day operations of the Payroll Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll and related transactions, in accordance with statutory requirements, established procedures, and company policies. The position will also provide responsive and professional support to employees and internal stakeholders on payroll-related matters.

The Senior Payroll Representative reports to the Payroll Manager.

STANDARD JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting, finance, payroll, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • General working knowledge of accounting concepts, procedures, and techniques.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Executing the end-to-end payroll process for permanent and contract employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including PAYE, Social Security, pension contributions, and relevant company policies.
  • Preparing, reviewing, validating, and reconciling annual employee TD4 tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of all required statutory reports.
  • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of payroll data, employee records, and payroll system updates, while ensuring data quality and compliance.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to employee and internal stakeholder inquiries relating to payroll and related matters.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising sound judgment when handling sensitive payroll and employee information.

  • Integrity, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
