What is DigiPoints?

Digi’s Loyalty Program launched in 2024 as a customer retention initiative. With Digi owning almost 70% of the mobile market and 53% of the residential broadband customers in Belize, DigiPoints will offer additional value and benefits for our loyal customers. Regardless of the nature of service, whether DigiNet, DigiTel, DigiCell or DigiONE, customers can download the DigiPoints app from the Google Play Store or App Store and register to begin receiving special offers, perks and rewards immediately. DigiPoints initiates gamified engagements and rewards customers for their everyday Telco usage, bill payments, referrals, app downloads and much more.

  • Download App “DigiPoints BZ” on the App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Go to “Create Now” enter DigiCell number (without 501) or your account code if you’re not a DigiCell user.
  • When prompted to link account, select “Yes” if you’re the account owner, or “No” if you're a member under the account.
  • Complete authentication by entering One Time Password (OTP) sent to your phone number.

*For those who used account code as username, OTP will be sent to primary contact email and phone number stored in MIND

  • Fill in your customer details such as name, email (non-editable if using account code), create a password, and accept the Terms & Conditions.

Any Digi residential customer can register for our loyalty program called DigiPoints.

 

Requirements for registration:

  • Download the DigiPoints app from the Play Store or App Store
  • Username:
    • Use DigiCellPrePaid or PostPaid number.
    • If you do not have a DigiCell phone number but have a residential fixed service (e.g.DigiNet, DigiONE etc.), you can use your Master Account Code which is the number that appears on your monthly bill
  • Open DigiPoints app and select “Create now” on the Login Page
  • Follow registration flow and prompts within the application to complete
  • Once complete, you will automatically gain access and can start earning rewards
  • If you encounter any issues, please WhatsApp customer care at 608-8888 or visit a Digi Store

Yes, DigiPoints has a “Forgot Password” feature which can be initiated on the Login Page of the app. Your password can be changed at any time but requires a one-time passcode to be received to complete successfully. If you did not receive the OTP, please WhatsApp customer care for support at 608-8888 or visit a Digi Store.

However, if you have attempted too many times to login with the wrong credentials and received a “account disabled” error you will need to contact BTL to resolve; forgot password will not work.

All DigiPoints registered users automatically qualify to play Shake & Win once daily for FREE. Playing Shake & Win gives you the opportunity to earn up to 2,000 loyalty points. Your free Shake & Win renews at 12 am daily. After playing once, users can purchase another chance to play Shake & Win with 200 points.

All DigiPoints registered users can opt in to play by trading 200 loyalty points for a chance to win up to 2,000 points. Additionally, as a reward for specific PrePaid data plan, PrePaid promotions and PostPaid plan purchases, some customers may qualify for a FREE chance to play Spin the Wheel. If you qualify you will receive a text message prompting you to play for free within 48 hours.

All DigiPoints registered users can opt in to play by trading 200 loyalty points for a chance to win up to 4,000 points. Additionally, as a reward for specific PrePaid plans/bundles inclusive of roaming, some customers may qualify for a FREE chance to play Jackpot. If you qualify you will receive a text message prompting you to play for free within 48 hours.

All DigiPoints registered users can participate in the Predict and Win competitions. Various sporting and other events will be uploaded to the DigiPoints app. Customers can trade 150 loyalty points to place a prediction on one event. Customers can choose to predict on multiple events for 150 loyalty points each. Each correct prediction earns the winner 400 loyalty points.

Flash Deals is a special limited time offer that DigiCell PrePaid or PostPaid customers can be presented with. The deal is offered via SMS and can be viewed in the DigiPoints app on Games Page>>Flash Deals>>View Offers. Once the requirement of the Flash Deal has been met before expiration, the customer will automatically earn loyalty points. The deals are not presented to every customer, but are based on your historical purchase trends of DigiCell products.

All DigiPoints registered users can participate in the Download and Win. These engagements reward Digi customers for the download and registration of our DigiGo, DigiWallet or DigiTV services. Loyalty points are automatically presented to newly registered customers via the DigiPoints app within 24 hours of registering.

 

To qualify, simply share your unique referral code to invite others to join DigiPoints or sign up for a Digi service. You’ll earn 200 points for each successful new referral – the referee as well. For service sign-ups, the referee points are awarded only to the Master Account holder. However, for DigiPoints app referrals, any user type can earn the points (Master Account, Sub Account, or phone number login). You can refer one service to multiple people or multiple services to a single person — both count!

All registered DigiPoints users can upgrade their membership classification from Bronze, to Silver, to Gold and finally Platinum. Your classification is based on the amount of loyalty points accumulated from day one to present. Each upgrade in classification earns you bonus loyalty points automatically applied to your account. Check your DigiPoints home page (right below your profile picture) to see how many more loyalty points you need to reach the next membership tier.

*Note, that transfers and welcome points do not accumulate towards membership classification thresholds.

Points can be redeemed for great prizes including Talk, Text and Data plans, Digi branded merchandise, grocery & gas vouchers as well as DigiWallet cash. Prizes are always evolving and getting better so check out our redemption catalogue in the app to see the latest prizes and rewards.

Users can add points to their loyalty account to subsidize the redemption of rewards or to play a game. This can be done remotely within the DigiPoints App by using the “Add Points” feature. Simply, insert the number of points needed and meet the payable amount indicated at purchase confirmation to successfully complete the process. Payment for the points can be done using PrePaid primary balance or DigiWallet.

Within the DigiPoints app, points can be purchased via the “Add Points” feature. Payment for the points can be done using PrePaid primary balance or DigiWallet. Customers can choose how many points they would like to purchase above the minimum required (must be more than 100). The purchase value is determined by multiplying the total points by $0.005 BZD. For example 150 points * $0.005 = $0.75 BZD.

Payment options based on username:

 DigiCell PrePaid users may have two wallet options to pay – PrePaid primary balance and DigiWallet (if they have an account registered to the same number as DigiPoints)

DigiCell PostPaid and Master Account Code users may have one wallet option as DigiWallet (if they have a DigiWallet account registered to the same PostPaid number or primary contact of their Digi account).

Points are automatically applied to your loyalty account once they are earned from playing games, received from transfers, or added through purchase. All points added can be confirmed on the Activity Page within the DigiPoints app.

One DigiPoints user can transfer loyalty points to another DigiPoints user. A minimum of 100pt can be transferred in one instance. A maximum of 1000pt can be transferred within one day to one or multiple users. Transferring points will carry a fee of 5% of the total points being transferred; therefore, your total points will need to be more than the amount you’d like to transfer. 

Example calculation of transfer fee:

Total points being transferred: 100pt

Transfer fee: 100 X 1.05 = 5pt

Total points + fee: 100pt + 5pt = 105pt

Total points to be deductions from DigiPoints account: 105pt – 1pt = 104pt

Note: Once the fee is an odd number it will be rounded down by 1pt. In this example, the actual total points that should have been deducted was 105pt, but it will appear as 104pt.

Loyalty points expire after a year of non-use. Day 1 is considered the day it was applied to the loyalty account.

Upon successfully redeeming merchandise rewards within the DigiPoints app, you will receive a SMS confirmation stating what was redeemed. A notification will also be sent to our team who will be contacting you within 48 hours to arrange delivery of the item.

If you need to confirm a transaction for any reason, a record of each transaction you do is listed on the Activity Pade of the DigiPoints app. Each record will description the transaction type, date/time stamp and whether points were deducted or added to your account. If a paid transaction was not successful it will indicate an automatic refund record to confirm points were added back to your account.

Registered users can delete their DigiPoints account with the app:

  • Login into the DigiPoints App
  • Go to the Customer Profile page
  • Scroll to the bottom where you will see “Delete Account”
  • A prompt will show to confirm you want to permanently delete your account
  • Select “Cancel” if you do not wish to permanently delete your account
  • Select “Delete” to permanently delete account

Deleting your account means you will no longer be able to login using credentials created, you will lose all your points currently on your account and you will need to re-register for future use of DigiPoints.
