With over 25 years of accomplished leadership, financial and operational experience in Belize and the United States, Ivan N. Tesucum has served as Chief Executive Officer of Belize Telemedia Limited (BTL/Digi) since 2019. He joined BTL in 2007 and progressed through increasingly senior leadership roles, including General Manager – Finance and Chief Financial Officer, a position to which he was appointed in 2012.
As CEO, Ivan has led Digi through a period of significant transformation, focused on strengthening the Company’s financial performance, expanding and modernizing its telecommunications infrastructure, enhancing the customer experience, and positioning Digi for its evolution from a traditional telecommunications provider into a broader technology and digital services company. His leadership has emphasized disciplined investment, operational excellence, innovation, organizational development and the creation of sustainable long-term value for shareholders, customers and Belize.
Prior to joining BTL, Ivan served as Chief Commercial Officer of Belize Water Services Limited and as Director of Operations for International Telecommunications Limited, following earlier experience in finance and operations in the United States.
Ivan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). He holds an MBA with concentrations in Corporate Finance and International Business from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Montana.
